As Director of Finance, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and lead a team responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of a range of financial services including cash management, corporate taxation, financial analysis and reporting, general accounting, payroll, student registration and student invoicing and collections. You will develop and implement a streamlined monthly close process and provide the analysis and reporting that drives our operational and strategic decision making. Beyond managing day to day operations, you will make a significant contribution to the ongoing effort to align our financial operations and planning capabilities with our strategic plan for continued growth.
The role will work closely with other internal stakeholders to leverage insights and formulate plans that drive process improvement, implement departmental budgeting, improve internal control, and track Key Performance Indicators. And finally, working closely with the CFO and other leaders, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the digital transformation of the finance function.
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience :
RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance, Operational and Department Accountabilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting; Finance Operations departments.
- Support the CFO in directing internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria.
- Ensure the effective and timely delivery of all accounting and finance operations reports; monthly packages
- Prepare and review monthly reporting packages, interpreting results and presenting them to the CFO.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Review current processes & practices and directs the accounting team in implementing
- procedures / systems improvements as needed.
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, liaising with operations as necessary.
- Maintain awareness of general economic, business, financial conditions, regulatory and taxation issues and their impact on the organization.
- Conduct scenario analysis and builds financial models to aid in the assessment of strategic business opportunities.
- Play a lead role in the external audit, liaising with the external auditors and preparing supporting documentation as required
- Recruit, train and mentor accounting team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Completion of CPA programBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline required.10+ years progressive experience in Business Operations with 3+ years in leadership rolesWhy Keyin?
