Job descriptionPerform regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Review and validate records for discrepancies, identifying and rectifying any errors or irregularities. Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for audit purposes. Assist in generating periodic reports, summaries, and schedules for the finance team. Manage interactions with both internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies or obtain additional information as required. Collaborate with vendors regarding payments and invoice clarifications. Adhere to internal control standards and regulatory requirements related to financial operations. Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed. Excel Expertise : Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and logical functions (IF, SUMIF) Transactional Accounting : Strong background in transactional accounting, equipped with robust investigative and problem-solving skills Detail-Oriented : Exceptionally meticulous when reviewing and authenticating financial transactions, consistently identifying errors and recommending corrective actions Audit Compliance : Deep understanding of internal audit requirements, ensuring compliance and mitigating audit risks Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with both internal and external customers Total Coverage for Life & Disability Superior Healthcare & Dental Group RRSP
