About the Role

As an Account Manager , you will be responsible for managing complex sales processes, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients. Your expertise in relationship management and project coordination will be key to ensuring seamless delivery of products and services while driving client satisfaction.

What You’ll Do -  Business Development & Client Relationships

  • Actively seek new business opportunities through your network of A&D, CRE professionals, GCs, and Project Managers.
  • Proactively grow and manage existing accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all client needs.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor, deeply understanding client goals and challenges to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Drive market awareness by identifying and pursuing upcoming project opportunities.

Sales Management

  • Oversee all customer projects and work orders, coordinating dealer activities, services, and personnel.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate quotes, proposals, and RFPs, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
  • Collaborate with service departments to develop service contracts and manage complex project scopes.
  • Ensure seamless execution of sales by managing client expectations, resolving bottlenecks, and tracking timelines.
  • Project Coordination

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and installation teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits to oversee progress and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation standards across all account activities.
  • What You Bring - Experience  & Skills

  • Proven experience in a complex sales environment managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship management and project coordination abilities.
  • Strong administrative skills to maintain accuracy and organization in all sales and project-related tasks.
  • Proficiency in managing RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation.
  • Familiarity with space planning, quoting, and sourcing products from manufacturers.
  • Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally in the furniture, architectural walls, or design industries.
  • Strong knowledge of contract furniture processes and workplace design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
