What You'll Be Doing - Stay connected with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and identify new opportunities
- Respond to incoming calls, inquiries, and orders with professionalism and urgency
- Open new accounts and support a growing customer base
- Make proactive outbound calls to generate new business and strengthen relationships
- Prepare pricing quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities
- Provide basic technical product support and guidance
- Keep up to date on current products, new offerings, and industry developments
- Identify project opportunities, specialty products, and non-stock solutions
- Build lasting customer relationships that drive repeat business and long-term success
What You'll Bring - Post-secondary education is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Previous sales or inside sales experience
- Experience in the building materials, industrial supply, or related industries is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A natural ability to connect with customers and earn their trust
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn product knowledge quickly
- Experience preparing quotations, bid packages, and pricing proposals
- A team-first attitude and flexibility to support business needs when required
