The Mechanical Engineering Technologist is responsible for enabling design, integration and verification of key technologies on highly complex analytical instruments. As part of the Hardware Product Development team, the candidate will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams engaging in all phases of the product development life cycle process, from concept realization through to commercialization and post-launch. This position reports to the Manager of Hardware Build and Integration and is part of the Hardware Build and Integration Team located in Concord, Ontario and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Troubleshoot and maintain system-level testbeds (e.g., mass spectrometers) during early research and development to maximize uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and research teams to characterize test‑bed performance, report system behavior, and share early DFA insights.
• Assemble, integrate, and manage pre‑production testbeds, including kitting parts, building sub‑assemblies, and ensuring proper configuration management throughout the project.

The annual salary range for this role is $81,500 - $89,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
