Agronomy Advisor

Job Summary :

Reporting to the Manager, Technical Sales, the Agronomy Advisor is responsible for providing technical expertise to support sales and execution of programs. The Advisor will assist in the enabling of the UFA network to grow sales of new and existing product lines. The position pisos will be an in‑house expert for agronomy. The role will be responsible for internal technical and product training, customer presentations, and preparing technical information to support sales and marketing.

Responsibilities :

• Provide agronomic support to sales representatives duration.
• Foster customer loyalty through partnerships and technical visits to key customers, as required, to support the sales process.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for UFA branded / proprietary products.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Sales Management as required including :
• Technical evaluation of new product and service opportunities.
• Provision and interpretation of technical information to support sales and marketing.
• Present to staff in training sessions and to customers at corporate and industry events such as trade shows and producer meetings.
• Analyze and interpret agronomic reports for key customers, providing tailored product recommendations.
• Maintain relationship with key University, industry, and association representatives.

Qualifications :

This is a safety sensitive position as it will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
