AG Sales Representative

Overview

Battle River Implements Ltd. is a progressive John Deere dealership in East Central Alberta. We sell and service large agricultural, lawn and garden, and several supporting lines of equipment. We are currently seeking an Agricultural Sales Representative for our Wainwright location. If you are an energetic, self-motivated team player, this could be a career opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers within a defined sales territory.
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment the dealership sells.
• Completes all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains all customer information in assigned territory as outlined by Area Sales Manager.
• Understands and follows the entire sales process from start to finish, including following up with customers to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.
• Participates in new equipment field demonstrations as required.
• Keeps current with customer’s business activities and communicates needs to management in a timely manner.
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
• Assists with special projects and attends training seminars as requested by supervisor.
• Keeps current on product knowledge and equipment values.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Other duties assigned by Management or directly related to customer service.
