Client in Interior Woodworks is looking for a

highly reliable and experienced Millwork Draftsman   with a strong background in

solid wood and custom millwork . This role is intended for a professional seeking

long-term, stable employment , not short-term or transitional work.

This position requires proven experience. Only candidates with relevant millwork drafting experience should apply.

• Produce

accurate and detailed shop drawings   for custom millwork and solid wood projects

architectural drawings, specifications, and field measurements   into production-ready drawings

Skills

Minimum 3 years of hands-on drafting experience   specifically in

solid wood and millwork

millwork construction methods, materials, and joinery

architectural and shop drawings

AutoCAD   (or equivalent millwork drafting software)

long-term employment

Requirements

Responsibilities Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for custom millwork and solid wood projects Translate architectural drawings, specifications, and field measurements into production-ready drawings Prepare drawings for cabinets, panels, doors, trims, and custom woodwork Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and installers to ensure constructability Revise drawings based on site conditions, approvals, and manufacturing feedback Maintain drawing standards, accuracy, and version control Skills Minimum 3 years of hands-on drafting experience specifically in solid wood and millwork Strong knowledge of millwork construction methods, materials, and joinery Advanced ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent millwork drafting software) High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines consistently Proven reliability, punctuality, and commitment to long-term employment Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with manufacturing and shop floor teams Understanding of installation methods and site coordination Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience in custom residential or commercial millwork projects
