About You

You love keeping systems running smoothly, whether it’s a Windows server, a firewall rule, or an AWS service acting up. You’re comfortable with on‑prem gear and cloud infrastructure, and you pay attention to detail, test backups, and stay calm when issues arise. You’re approachable, patient, and you can crack a nerdy joke while troubleshooting.

What You Bring

• Hands-on Windows server / network administration and end-user IT support.
• Experience with AWS (Aurora, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• MySQL / Aurora DBA experience : performance tuning, backups, replication.
• Comfort juggling both on‑prem systems and cloud services.
• Willingness to be fully on-site and handle occasional after-hours / on-call needs.
• A "roll up your sleeves" mindset — you like fixing things and making them stay fixed.

What You’ll Do

Administer and tune Aurora MySQL clusters (parameter groups, snapshots, replicas, failover).

Who You’ll Be Working With

Dan is our founder and the primary backend / AWS expert. He loves coding, expanding his model train empire, and finding answers when things get tricky.

Todd is our IT lead, QA tester, and the owner of many technical tickets. If something might break, he’s already testing it; he’s also known for dad jokes and dodgeball.
