Account Manager, Flex Business – National Bank of Canada

Job Summary

Join a dynamic team and lead entrepreneurial clients who contact Flex Business and referrals received from partners. You will manage the growth of the client portfolio while serving SME clients who seek remote advice. Your experience in business development and customer service will help you build trust over the phone and support small to medium‑sized businesses through all their financial projects.

Your Job

  • Provide advisory services in line with client needs
  • Analyze credit files, develop financing scenarios, and propose appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements with clients
  • Implement and follow up on recommendations made by various bank specialists and subsidiaries, promoting profitable business development
  • Take charge of personal development, both in terms of skill evolution and knowledge of the economic aspects surrounding SMEs

Your Team

Reporting to the Director, Sales and Services, Flex Business, you collaborate daily with a team of 110 experts. Full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week. The position requires availability for rotation from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Schedule may vary. The selected candidate will work in hybrid mode with presence in our branches in the Laval region.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree, university certificate, or master’s degree with 3‑7 years of business development experience
  • Experience in personal (or business, an asset) financing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective communication
  • Knowledge of commercial products (asset)
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment

Additional Information

Location: Laval, Quebec, Canada (Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area). Salary range: CA$130,129.00‑CA$204,489.00.

Additional required languages: English, French.
