Job Title : Customer Service Professional - Bilingual III

Location : Hybrid (Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday in-office in Halifax)

Contract Duration : November 4, 2024 - May 9, 2025

Possibility of Extension / Conversion to Full-Time : Potential for contract extension

Schedule Hours : Training for 5 weeks (Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. AST). After training, rotational shifts between 9 : 00 a.m. and 9 : 00 p.m. AST, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Answer inbound calls (7 hours daily) from internal and external clients.
  • Provide follow-up support for group insurance plan files.
  • Participate in monthly coaching sessions and weekly role-specific micro-learning.
  • Engage in collaboration opportunities, including call debriefing and shadowing colleagues.

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have Skills) :

  • Bilingual in French and English – Proficient in both languages (read / write / speak) and able to explain complex terms clearly.
  • 5-7 years of customer service experience – Experience in a contact center, retail, or other service sectors.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft apps (Teams, Outlook, etc.)
  • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with various web-based and computer applications.
  • Background in group benefits.
  • Previous experience in an information center.
