Reporting to the Engagement Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for managing fieldwork for annual studies across the US and Canada within the insurance and asset management industries. This includes identifying and recruiting appropriate target respondents, scheduling and coordinating interviews, and supporting the successful execution of multiple studies throughout the year.

As the first point of contact for respondents, this role requires excellent stakeholder communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior industry participants. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to establish themselves as a key contributor within a growing and dynamic global business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Success in this role will see the following achieved :

  • Manage the annual execution of US and Canadian insurance and asset management, ensuring delivery within defined scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Liaise with project managers and internal teams to coordinate study activities, including contacting respondents, scheduling interviews, and tracking all interview activity (scheduled, rescheduled, completed, declines, referrals, etc.).
  • Monitor programme progress and provide reporting on key metrics, risks, communications, and critical issues.
  • Provide operational oversight and elevate issues or corrective actions to senior stakeholders as required.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Represent NMG professionally when engaging with respondents and industry participants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues, senior industry executives, and external partners.
  • Provide timely updates and follow up on action items to ensure smooth execution of programmes.
  • Business Improvement & Operational Support

  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to enhance programme processes, data management, and overall delivery quality.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, process enhancements, and technology-based improvements.
  • Support operational tasks as required, including preparing training materials, responding to risk or audit reviews, and other ad hoc projects.
  • YOUR EXPERIENCE

    The successful candidate will have :

  • 2+ years of professional sales-related experience, or equivalent experience in project or programme coordination.
  • Relevant university degree.
  • Experience managing large-scale research projects and producing high-quality outputs or reports.
  • Experience interacting with senior-level executives and managing stakeholders professionally.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheets, JIRA, etc.).
  • Tenacity, self-motivation, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Some experience in Financial Services including Asset Management and / or Insurance (preferred, not essential)
  • Multilingual skills, including French, are a plus
