Material Handler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to join our team as a Material Handler. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of shipments and deliveries.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and unload incoming material, verifying information on packing slips with handling units (HU) to confirm accuracy of shipment or damage.
• Perform routine shipping, receiving, and handling tasks.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with material and equipment handling programs, including data entry.
• Guide and train new warehouse team members on job function and responsibilities.
• Conduct physical inventory and / or cycle counts to verify correct inventory management.
• Post inward and outward movement of material in the EWM system with quantities and storage location to ensure correct inventory management.
• Identify shortages and make recommendations to the appropriate department.
• Sort and repalletize product.
• Participate in open communication with team members and management.
• Join daily huddles to learn about progress, expectations, and receive direction regarding safe work practices and service levels.
• Customer Pick Up's Select customers' packages and match to delivery note.
• Operate dolly, pump / pallet truck, and forklift where appropriate.
• Complete visual safety checks on storage racks for damage.
• Perform daily warehouse housekeeping duties.
