Principal tasks and responsibilities include :

• Leading and mentoring a cost control team, including project accountants and billing administrators.
• Developing and implementing cost management systems and reporting frameworks aligned with company policies.
• Delivering detailed financial reporting and analysis on overhead costs, budgets, forecasts, variances, risks, opportunities, and cash flow – with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating with Project Managers and Construction Managers to assess project risks and optimize contingency strategies.
• Streamlining processes and building dashboards to improve reporting and forecasting.
• Supporting contract management by tracking approved and unapproved changes and recommending financial improvements.
• Establishing and presenting key performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Interpreting and analyzing financial statements to guide stakeholders through critical data for decision‑making.
• Creating and implementing controls to mitigate risks across long‑term projects.
