Scope
The Surrey Nature Centre (operated by the City of Surreys Urban Forestry section) offers nature-based programs and events for schools and the public with the goal of increasing awareness, appreciation and stewardship of Surreys urban forest. This auxiliary position is based on a predicted 35 hours work week (Monday to Friday) from Monday, June 15 to September 4, 2026.
Responsibilities
As a Summer Day Camp Leader at the Surrey Nature Centre you will :
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have experience working with school-aged children; the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program participants, volunteers, staff, and the public; and have a creative and enthusiastic approach to their work.
