Operations Administrator – 12‑Month Contract

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Operations Administrator to support Distribution Operations in Kitchener, Ontario. The role reports to the Manager, Distribution Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support front office administration with mail and shipment coordination.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory of packaging supplies for the office and distribution center operations.
  • Support Parts Distribution daily order flow : waving, separating, and distributing pick tickets hourly for dealer and Mass Retail customers.
  • Identify and prepare documentation / shipments for Dangerous Goods.
  • Support Logistics team by booking pick‑up confirmations for Mass Retail Parts orders.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates on on‑time shipping performance, unit fill rate, product hold summaries, and other management reports.
  • Troubleshoot picking errors, shipment and WMS system errors to support on‑time customer delivery.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or 2–3 years of administrative experience, or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and an ERP system such as INFOR MAPICs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi‑task.

    Location : Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.

    Salary Range : CA$22.00–CA$22.00 per hour (exact figure may vary).
