Our client working in the Non Profit space is hiring for a Projects and Programs Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis until March 2025. This is an exciting opportunity working in a fully remote environment, within ON.
The Projects and Programs Coordinator manages project timelines, milestones, and risks. This position involves collaborating with team members, stakeholders, and partners to ensure programs run smoothly. The role reports to the Senior R&D Manager. Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and track assigned projects and programs
- Identify and update on potential conflicts and risks
- Implement systems for tracking and reporting
- Work with project leads to set key milestones
- Collect and review reports from partners
- Provide research teams with timely updates
- Collaborate with internal teams like communications and finance
- Monitor projects for improvements and efficiency
- Organize internal meetings for feedback and tracking
- Use sound judgment in project management
- Draft project plans, templates, and status reports
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Show initiative in organizational activities
Qualifications :
Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields, or equivalent experienceExperience working with federally funded projects or programsCertifications like PMP or CAPM are an asset3-5 years of relevant experienceStrong communication and writing skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsProficiency in project management software and Google Suite
