Accounting Technician

Your tasks will include: -Entering and coding transactions (invoices, payments, deposits, entries) -Verifying data accuracy and reconciling accounts -Tracking adjustments, provisions, and amortizations -Collaborating with the accounts payable/receivable teams -Preparing financial reports and audit files -Contributing to updating the chart of accounts and procedures -Maintaining accounting files and complying with standards (GST/QST, CNESST, CCQ) -Produce government reports (taxes, DAS) -Support project managers -All other related tasksYour profile: DEP/AEC/DEC in accounting or equivalent -Experience in the construction industry (an asset) -Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle -Experience with Maestro software (an asset) What we offer: -Year-round summer schedule (Friday afternoons off) -4 weeks of annual vacation upon hiring -Group insurance (life, disability, medical & dental) -RRSP / DPSP -Virtual healthcare (Telemedicine) -Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) -Work/life balance
