Description de posteDesign, develop, and modify SAP BW data models to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring data integrity and optimal structure for reporting and analytics. Monitor SAP BW production jobs daily, promptly identifying, investigating, and resolving failures or performance issues to minimize business disruption. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise application configurations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Oversee system testing, integration, develop test strategy, and validate configurations. Provide expert‑level troubleshooting and support for enterprise applications, perform root‑cause analysis for critical system issues and document changes and resolution plans for implementation. Provide project support and conduct technical assessment and risk evaluation, advising project and product managers for decision‑making. Drive system upgrades, patches, and improvements to enhance performance; document test strategy, timeline and work plan; communicate with stakeholders. Provide audit support and ensure compliance with OPG IT standards, accounting policies, and internal controls. A 4‑Year University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Over 6 years of experience in enterprise application configuration and system performance improvement, including troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis. Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and modifying SAP BW data models and optimizing ETL processes. Hands‑on experience in monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving issues in SAP BW production environments to ensure high system availability. Solid background in creating and modifying SAP BEx queries and complex web reports for finance and HR reporting requirements. Practical understanding of performance optimization techniques and maintaining interfaces between SAP BW and other systems. Ability to prepare test scripts, support user acceptance testing, and provide training to end‑users. Experience in SAP S / 4 HANA and / or SAP Datasphere implementation or migration projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and go‑live support.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) seeks a dynamic, strategic, and results‑driven professional to join our team as Senior Solution Configurator – SAP BW Support.
