Senior Manager, Data Analytics - Governance

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics – Governance leads the design and delivery of decision ready analytics that drive business performance while establishing foundational data governance practices in partnership with various stakeholders in Walmart Canada, Walmart International, and Global Technology teams. This role also owns high impact analytics roadmaps, BI solutions, and adoption, and helps define governance standards, stewardship, and tooling so our data and reporting are trusted, secure, and compliant across business units.

What you'll do

Analytics Strategy and Delivery

• Strategy & Roadmap : Partner with business and technology teams to design and execute a scalable analytics roadmap; translate goals into prioritized use cases with requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Solution Delivery : Lead the development and enhancement of BI solutions (dashboards, KPI frameworks, self‑service datasets) and analytics assets that drive merchandising, supply chain, eCommerce, stores, finance, and marketing decisions.
• Architecture & Scalability : Collaborate with data engineering / platform teams to ensure semantic layers, curated datasets, and pipelines are performant, governed, and reusable.
• UAT & Adoption : Manage user acceptance testing for analytics solutions; improve testing documentation, resolve defects, and run training / office hours to drive adoption and business continuity.
• Stakeholder Management : Facilitate cross‑functional forums, align on priorities and trade‑offs, and communicate progress / risks to leaders; ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of analysts and BI developers; set standards for analysis quality, visualization, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

The pay range for this position is $109,400.00 - $150,480.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
