Compensation : $20.50 per hour
Niagara Adventure Excursions isseekingexperienced and dependable Duty Managers to support daily operations in a fast-paced outdoor attraction environment. This role is well suited to individuals whodemonstratestrong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. Duty Managers play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and staff support while upholding all safety and service standards.
As a Duty Manager, you will serve as the on-site operational leader, overseeing daily park operations and supporting both Element and Guest Services teams. You willbe responsible formaintainingalignment across departments, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting a positive and professional work environment from opening to closing operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead by example whilerepresentingNiagara Adventure Excursions service and safety standards
- Maintain active oversight of all operational areas throughout the site
- Monitor and direct team activities to ensure safety, guest service excellence, and professional conduct
- Manage guest flow to support an efficient and enjoyable experience
- Ensure adherence to site-specific safety policies and risk management procedures
- Promote clear communication and collaboration across the leadership team
- Maintain working knowledge of all park roles, procedures, and operational processes
- Identifyand address operational challenges proactively
- Coach, mentor, and support team members during daily operations
- Address performance concerns, enforce corrective action whenrequired, and manage conflicts professionally
- Report staff performance observations and feedback to the leadership team
- Support employee engagement, morale, and overall team success
Qualifications and Skills :
Minimum of three years of leadership or management experience, preferably in tourism, recreation, or hospitalityEducation in Recreation, Hospitality, or Tourism is considered an assetStrong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsAbility to assess situations quickly and respond calmly and effectivelyExperience in coaching, team development, and conflict resolutionProfessional demeanor with strong verbal and written communication skillsProficiencywith Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systemsKnowledge of risk management practices for outdoor or high-risk activities is preferredExperience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is preferredZipline or outdoor recreation experience is a strong assetOn-the-job training and ongoing mentorship will be provided
Work Relationships :
Reports to the Operations Manager and AdministrationWorks closely with Department Supervisors, fellow Duty Managers, and senior leadershipWork Schedule :
This is a full-time, seasonal position with a flexible schedule based on operational needs. Shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak season from May through mid to late September.
This is a multi-interview process. Applicants will be required to meet with a minimum of two (2) hiring panels prior to receiving an offer.
