My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.

I am looking for a senior financial analyste FP&A for a manufacturing group located in Anjou. This position is permanent, full-time, with 2 days at office.

  • Administer the monthly reporting cycle for the Operations group and coordinate monthly meetings to review financial results to fully understand business events and market trends.
  • Prepare monthly analyzes of actual results and compare them to forecasts and budget. Explain discrepancies and make recommendations for corrective actions to be taken.
  • Collaborate with the Operations group team to provide it with the necessary support for the preparation of financial analyzes for the effective management of its activities.
  • Prepare key performance indicators, support management and finance teams by providing them with the forecasts, budgets and other analyzes they need
  • Participate in the forecasting and budgeting process and lead initiatives to continually improve and automate the tools used to establish forecasts and budgets.
  • Prepare a detailed budget by business unit and review it with the people responsible for these business units
  • Change financial forecasts following monthly analyzes and meetings with different business partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce or administration
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • CPA title, an asset
  • Knowledge and mastery of accounting and financial systems and software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
