Summary of the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project from bid preparation and design phase (including engineering drawings and calculations, fabrication drawings, and the development of Bills of Material), assisting in estimating and purchasing to procure system components and structural hardware, to managing subcontractors to complete system installations and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain direct contact with Customers and / or Contractors / Trades.
• Represent E.S. Fox Limited as point of contact with the owner in a professional, businesslike and reasonable manner.
• Understand all aspects of a project budget and deal with the owner on all cost issues.
• Develop overall project schedules and oversee the maintenance, progress, communication of schedules and project reporting requirements.
• Understand fully the project scope boundaries and deal with the owner on all scope issues.
• Understand and administer the contractual agreement between E.S. Fox Limited and the owner, ensuring the company conforms to the contract documents.
• Ensure the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources.
• Ensure the project is adequately and competently resourced for proper control and execution.
• Provide notifications regarding delays and extras in a timely manner.
• Develop or oversee the development of all project requisitions and work with the central purchasing group to obtain all material in accordance with project schedules, best price, and passing through conditions and warranties imposed on E.S. Fox Limited by the client.
• Recognize and retain a productive workforce.
• Recognize and deal with an unproductive workforce.
• Understand job costing and tracking reports, i.e. – dollars, hours, schedule, etc.
• Assemble estimates for projects and project extras.
• Develop cost estimates and execute cost-reduction strategies.
• Ensure the project is executed in a safe manner following the E.S. Fox Limited safety policy, ISO 18001 and OSHA requirements.
• Ensure the project environmental aspects are adhered to pursuant to ISO 14001 environmental requirements of the project.
