Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Advisor (hybrid)at our Head Office in Surrey, BC .

Expected Compensation : The expected hiring range for this role is $63,200 to $79,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a Learning & Development Advisor , you will be part of the Business Technology Enablement Office, helping our employees build their skills and knowledge. Your main role is to design and deliver training programs, especially those related to insurance and technology.

You will work closely with our teams to create learning materials in different formats, such as videos, guides, instructor-led and eLearning courses. You will also support key projects like improving the learning programs, training on enterprise software, and onboarding new employees and acquisition offices. In addition, you will lead communications and change management efforts for our employees.
