Overview

Electrical Engineer role at AECOM, location : London / Kitchener, Ontario. The position supports projects across Water & Wastewater, Transportation, Buildings, and Sustainability sectors, including renewable energy (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. You will work under moderate supervision and contribute to a variety of engineering design and analysis tasks while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical analyses, calculations, and routine tests in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications, design drawings, memos, and reports.
• Identify discrepancies in results and propose solutions using sound engineering judgment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to fulfill project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate electrical conditions and provide recommendations.
• Provide technical or operational guidance to less experienced engineers, EITs and technicians.
• Stay updated on industry codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality design solutions.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00.
