Are you an intermediate land development engineer looking for a dynamic and supportive workplace? R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited (Burnside) has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Private Sector Land Development team at our Pickering or Mississauga office.

At Burnside, we pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming culture where team members thrive. Our land development group, for this portion of the business, works on a diverse range of projects, including ICI and Mixed-Use developments, and maintains strong relationships with both major builders and local developers. You'll have the opportunity to engage with clients from concept to completion, ensuring their visions become reality.

About The Role

As a key member of our team, you'll be the main point of contact for clients on various land development projects. Your responsibilities will include :

• Overseeing and managing day-to-day project tasks across multiple offices
• Ensuring project schedules, deadlines, and budgets are communicated and met
• Acting as the primary client contact and managing all client and external agency correspondence
• Producing detailed engineering design documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Supporting and motivating the project team to meet client needs efficiently
• Managing project budgets, preparing proposals, and leading business development initiatives
• Developing strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities
• Working closely with staff at all levels to ensure project efficiency and professionalism
• Conducting invoicing and A / R,
• Manage and lead quality control process
• Travel for client and agency meetings, and occasional site visits
• Support other internal Burnside project teams from other sectors when needed
