Eventscape has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing vendor relationships and assisting with procurement. You will interface with internal and external teams, solving problems diplomatically and responding effectively to management and staff. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand and fulfill shipping needs.
- Coordinate local, domestic, and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of all required shipping documentation for seamless transitions across borders and deliveries.
- Provide regular analysis on logistics performance, recommending adjustments to meet shifting priorities and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and carriers regarding shipping inquiries.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure they meet Eventscape’s quality standards, timelines, capabilities, and budget requirements.
- Work closely and provide support with Purchasing by contacting vendors, gathering quotes, and preparing purchase orders as needed.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, optimize costs, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply.
ABOUT YOU
5+ years’ experience in a logistics / purchasing roleexceptional written and verbal communication skillsstrong familiarity with Microsoft Office suiteknowledge of project life cycles and risk managementawareness of construction, material specifications, tools, and equipmentunderstanding of procurement best practices and supply chain processespost-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration an assetWHY EVENTSCAPE?
