Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing (363 ISRW) senior program analyst performing work related to the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of effective programs in assigned area(s) of responsibility. Conducts planning, organizing, and determining necessary policies, regulations.
Duties
This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel system(s) DCIPS). The GG-13 duties of the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee\'s salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GG / GS grade based on the selectee\'s qualification in relation to the job
- Leads analysis, development, and evaluation of detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned MAJCOM ISR program(s).
- Researches, interprets, analyzes, complies, and applies applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and other guidance to develop, enhance, and / or execute program(s) and projects for which are responsible.
- Actively participates in strategic planning and programming activities / processes to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
- Endorses detailed ISR plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned major programs and / or participates with management in fiscal planning.
- Documents planning and programming decisions / recommendations in appropriate formats to meet AF and MAJCOM requirements.
- Responsible for identification of non-standard or emerging ISR operational requirements, assesses impact on assigned programs, and develops recommendations for senior leader approval.
- Reviews, modifies, and approves, and as required, leads and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with senior staff and engages with HHQ to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned programs.
