Job Summary :
Machine assembler using conventional, portable and machines that cut or grind metal and other materials into products with precise dimensions. These machines include saws, grinding machines, drilling machines, ability to work on extrusions, mesh and other sheet metals.
Job Responsibilities :
This job's key responsibilities include :
- Ability to read engineering blueprints and translate them into the proper machine parameters for specified materials to produce machined molds / parts.
- Check the machine tool's calibration and motion accuracy.
- Working knowledge of the tools, fixtures, processes utilized in the machining departments.
- Perform all required machining checks for quality, maintenance, and HS&E requirements.
- Accountable for machine set-up and / or operations and / or maintenance, and / or troubleshooting.
- Responsible for quality inspections of the machines recording and resolving any abnormalities.
- Ability to adhere and complete work within specified timelines.
- Experience programming various types of plant machinery
- Must be prepared to work on various shifts with supervision.
- Ability to schedule and perform maintenance and repairs to machinery.
- Adherence to all company and operating policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Participate in and support Continuous Improvements.
Job Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent that includes Math and English creditsMin of 2-4 years of experience as machinist, milling machines, saws, sheet metal, machine guarding, machines assemble.Behavioural Expectations :
