Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a mother of 4 children living in Canmore, Alberta. I'm looking for a live-out nanny to take care of my 3yr old daughter and primary school aged twins that are 12yrs old.

My twins are special needs. They have Autism. One is non-verbal and the other has just starting to verbally speak. They are both very loving boys. I also have a 15yr old son.

We have a GermanShepard X Husky, she is 4yrs old.

My husband works local, in construction and works long hours. I need some help around the home.

I'm searching for a trustworthy, loving and organized individual who is experienced in infant care as well as pet care. (Just let the dog outside in the garden if she needs to go to the washroom) We have a dog walker that runs her 3x week. Ideally someone that will be around for 6 months

Looking for light Housekeeping (vacuum, wiping counters down, general tidying of toys, books) folding laundry, meal preparation and tidying up after the children will also be part of the job. I like to keep a clean home.

Taking the children out 1 at a time for some adventures. We have e-bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, maybe even attend some camps with Rocky Mountain Adaptive, go swimming at Elevation Place.

If you have all of the required skills, I'm offering $23.00 hr to look after 1 child or housework. If you have experience with special needs, then I will raise hourly wage. If you're interested in the position please don't hesitate to message me. I'm excited to meet you soon!

Wage is dependent on your skills. As my children have special needs, I have been granted funds from the Alberta government. Depending on what job you are doing pay range varies from $23hr- 35hr .

23 hr is for housekeeping, laundry, etc while the children are at school. (my 3yr old daughter will be home, she does go to pre school Monday-Thursday 12 : 30-3 : ...)

Afternoons / evenings I would like help with food prep, looking after the children. Basically getting them some snacks, watching them play in the fenced garden. Bath time. Helping them eat dinner. Going out after school for a walk, go to the park, swimming. Joining in with a local group for children & adults with disabilities. Usually crafts, music, bowling, bingo, crock a doodle, playing games. Called BVCC

Summer holidays starts : July-August

Depends if you are looking after my twins plus my daughter when my husband and I go out for respite in evenings to dinner and a movie. It would be $35hr ($28.00 from the government then I top up for my daughter)

If it’s after 4 : 00pm and my twins are home it’s $28.00 hr. Respite. I could be home, or I may of gone to the store and left you for an hour or so.

I have 35hrs week granted for our family. $55,000 yr. We also have other community aide hours on top for each child.

Would also love to work upto possible overnight care - once you’re comfortable working with our family. Rates of course to be discussed.

Please note- My daughter and one of my twins is in diapers / Pull-ups full time. The other twin wears pull ups only at bedtime. MUST be okay with changing diapers, bathroom accidents. Helping with hygiene needs.
