The Role
Onondaga Camp is looking for certified (RN / RPN) nursing staff for the summer of 2024. Applications are welcome from certified and graduating nurses.
Nursing staff are responsible for the general health and well-being of our campers and staff as well as the management of our infirmary in conjunction with the camp doctor.
Specific roles and responsibilities include :
- Daily clinics (campers / staff visit the health centre) and associated charting.
- Daily medication administration.
- First aid kit maintenance (camp activities and overnight canoe trips).
- Assistance with daily first aid and medical emergencies as required.
The Camp
Since 1918, Onondaga Camp has been an overnight camp for children ages 6-16 near Minden, Ontario, offering an inclusive environment for kids to play, explore, achieve, and grow.
