Summary :
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using Core mainframe technologies to support business requirements.
Must Have Skills :
1. 10+ years of hands-on Mainframe application development experience in large enterprise or financial services environments
2. 10+ years of experience with core mainframe technologies : Cobol, CICS, IMS DB / DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, MQ
3. 10+ years of working knowledge of MVS, TSO / ISPF, VM, and mainframe batch processing
4. 8+ years of experience with SQL, SORT utilities, IBM mainframe utilities, and scheduling tools such as Control-M or CA-Jobtrac
5. 8+ years of experience with change management, debugging and productivity tools such as CHANGEMAN, XPEDITER, INTERTEST, FILEAID, FILEAID / DB2, and related utilities.
6. 5+ years prior experience in technical leadership or team lead roles
7. Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end to end.
8. Hands-on experience in following iterative and agile SDLC.
Nice to have :
1. Experience with system integration projects including mergers or platform consolidations
2. Proven experience work with Tier-1 banks;supporting and enhancing mission critical financial systems (e.G., credit cards, banking, rewards, collections, deposits, ATM / ABM systems)
3. Exposure to interface services and data exchange between mainframe and front end applications
