To support our growth initiatives, we are expanding our team and are looking for innovative, forward-thinking people who enjoy challenges and want to add value to project success, both locally and internationally.We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Concept, Pre-Feasibility (PFS), Feasibility (FS), Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies and detailed engineering (DE) for mineral processing projects, with a focus on copper and gold.This role is critical to ensuring technically sound, cost-effective, and execution-ready outcomes that align with client objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, structured planning, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.This opportunity supports the growth of our M&M business located in Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia .## Your role Lead and manage Concept, PFS, FS, and FEED studies for mineral processing projects, particularly in copper and gold.* Oversee cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.* Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.* Conduct structured trade-off studies and risk assessments to support decision-making.* Ensure technical quality and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.* Engage in process design, equipment selection, vendor coordination, and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.* Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in project execution and study methodologies.## About you Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with Master's degree or PhD being an asset.* 15–20 years of experience in mineral processing, focusing on copper and / or gold, including managing PFS, FS, and FEED studies in the mining sector and advanced technologies in mineral processing and battery materials.* Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario / Quebec or eligible for P.Eng status in any Canadian province is an asset.* 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large- and small-scale projects within Mining and Metals, with bilingual capabilities (e.g., English, French) being an asset.* Strong understanding of process flowsheets, equipment integration, constructability, and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, @Risk), as well as familiarity with SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.* Operational and site experience in mineral processing plants, knowledge of project safety standards, and the ability to drive safety culture, along with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.## Reward & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRéalis in Canada.Enjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.Make the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.And take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.## About AtkinsRéalis We're , a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
