Business Overview:
The BI & CRM Support Group delivers comprehensive support for Customer Relationship Management, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence applications at Fidelity Investments Canada. Our team ensures the seamless operation, maintenance, and enhancement of these critical platforms, enabling data-driven insights and superior customer engagement across the organization.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and support of ETL data integration solutions for Fidelity Canada. You will work with Informatica IICS, as well as Snowflake SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, to deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with business requirements. Responsibilities include data analysis, building and maintaining ETL mappings and procedures, administering Informatica tools, and collaborating with team members to ensure system reliability and application availability.
The Value You Deliver
Work with other DW team members to develop Informatica IICS/IDMC CDI mappings and Snowflake/Oracle procedures to satisfy business requirements.
Analyze data requirements and their impact to the system.
Perform administrative duties for IICS/IDMC.
Execute unit tests to ensure the accuracy of code changes, and to verify that data integrity and performance requirements are met.
Create and maintains technical documents, including data models.
What We’re Looking For:
University Degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience with Snowflake SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development
3+ years of experience with ETL Informatica development in IICS/IDMC
3+ years of development experience with Oracle database.
2+ years of experience with Snowflake data warehouse environment
1+ years of experience with AWS
The Skills You Bring:
Proven experience working in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environments
Proficiency with data modeling tools and techniques
Familiarity with the Mutual Funds industry (development experience considered an asset)
Strong technical aptitude combined with advanced data analysis skills
Highly customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering quality solutions and support
Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent
This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The hourly rate ranges from $46 to $71 based on experience and qualifications.
