BOMA Canada is hiring an Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of BOMA BEST , Canada’s leading sustainability certification program in the commercial real estate industry. This role supports program operations, client portfolios, billing coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Operations, this role is aligned to someone who is organized, client-focused, and comfortable managing multiple operational workflows in a mission-driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Portfolio Operations

Manage assigned BOMA BEST client portfolios, including quarterly check-ins and ongoing communications
Track portfolio activity including registrations, verifications, and program progress
Support onboarding of new portfolios and train clients on program requirements and platform use
Respond to client inquiries related to the BOMA BEST platform and program administration

Data, Billing & Administration

Maintain accurate portfolio records, documentation, and database entries

Coordinate invoicing details and support accounts receivable activities as required

Ensure data accuracy across systems related to client records, billing, and program tracking

Team & Cross-Functional Support

Relay client feedback and operational issues to appropriate internal stakeholders

Collaborate with program, verification, standards, and business development teams

Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes

What You Bring

2+ years of experience in operations, program coordination, administration, or client services

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel; Power BI an asset)

Comfort working with databases or back-end platforms

Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently within a team environment

Nice to Have

Background in sustainability, environmental programs, or certification programs

Familiarity with BOMA BEST, LEED, WELL, or Fitwel

Proficient French and / or Spanish language skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range : $50,000–$58,000 per year (CAD), depending on experience.

Discretionary bonus eligibility to be paid out upon successful completion of contract

RRSP matching up to 5% of base salary

Comprehensive benefits package

Competitive vacation, winter holiday shutdown, and reduced summer Friday hours (workload permitting)

Contract Details

Full-time, 12-month contract

Hybrid work model with designated in-office days

Responsibilities reflect the core scope of a Coordinator-level role and may evolve with program needs
