Our Team
Micromart launched just over a year ago and is now used in thousands of locations across North America. We’re a small and growing team working closely across product, platform, and smart store systems, from design through production.
Work here is end to end. That means thinking through problems, making pragmatic tradeoffs, shipping changes, and improving systems over time. As we scale, quality and reliability matter more than ever, and this role plays a key part in that.
How you can help
As a QA Engineer, you will help define how quality works at Micromart. You will own testing and release confidence across our systems, investigate issues that arise as the platform operates at scale, and help ensure we can move fast without breaking things.
At Micromart, reliability is not a nice to have. Our smart stores operate 24 / 7, and entrepreneurs and shoppers depend on them to work every time. We are building the most reliable smart store platform in the world, and quality is foundational to that goal.
This is a software first QA role with exposure to systems that span software, payments, and connected devices. You will work independently, take initiative, and help establish QA practices as the company continues to scale.
The role combines hands on manual and exploratory testing with practical automation. You will write and maintain end to end tests, experiment with tooling where it adds leverage, and use modern tools, including AI assisted workflows, to improve coverage and efficiency. When changes involve physical systems, you will validate behavior on hardware as needed.
