Position Summary :
- Working as a professional IT consultant in the field of software testing with a geographically spread team for one of the Big Five (Canadian Banks).
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysisSupport creation of Test Strategies & Test PlansDevelop and maintain test cases, automated scripts, and traceability matricesFacilitate the identification and preparation of test dataEnsure quality processes are followedExecute system and integration test scriptsDetect, log, and retest defectsParticipate and contribute to the Lessons Learned SessionsParticipate in knowledge transition activitiesCommunicate progress of testing activities to the team / test lead or directly to clientProduce “client” and “internal” status reportsMaintain a solid understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and terminologiesCoach and mentor other membersRequired qualifications to be successful in this role :
Required Level of Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and / or Business OR Diploma in IT and / or Business with equivalent IT experienceRequired Experience :
3+ years of testing experienceWorking experience in Canadian BankingStrong practical experience programming algorithms with Java3+ years working experience with industry standard test management tools (ex. JIRA)3+ years working experience with industry standard functional automation test tools (ex. ServiceNow ATF, Selenium)Working experience with industry standard API automation test tools (ex.
