The Langley School District is situated on the traditional unceded territories of the Matsqui, Kwantlen, Katzie, and Semiahmoo First Nations. POSTING DETAILS

  • Position - Casual Cafeteria Assistant
  • Start Date - ASAP
  • Location(s) - Varied (Secondary Schools)
  • Compensation - $27.16 / hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 graduation
  • Completion of a Food Safe Certificate (Level 1)
  • At least 2 years related experience
  • Ability to clean and operate commercial kitchen equipment such as industrial dishwasher, mixer, meat slicer, etc.
  • Ability to use judgement in applying clearly established procedures.
  • Ability to use courtesy and tact in the routine exchange or provision of information in contact with public, staff and students.
  • Ability to work with constant interruptions and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to perform the required duties.
