Overview

CSP is one of the largest and fastest growing private youth sports operators in the GTA. We provide fun, engaging experiences, creating lasting memories for the youth and families in our communities! We're looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly soccer coaches to join our team and build our girls program! We are currently hiring for soccer coaches who have experience working with children ages 2-5 years, and Youth Coaches who have experience working with ages 6-14 years girls soccer.

Responsibilities

  • Coach soccer skills and games with young children (ages 2-5 for soccer coaches; ages 6-14 for youth coaches).
  • Engage with children, parents, and co-workers; deliver feedback to parents as needed.
  • Be energetic, playful, and imaginative; maintain a safe, fun environment for participants.
  • Maintain high energy during sessions and coach soccer skills for 2+ hours per session.
  • Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about working with and engaging young children.
  • Availability on weekday evenings (4pm–8pm) and / or weekends (9am–12pm on Saturdays and Sundays).
  • Reliable and professional; energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing; good with children, parents, and co-workers.
  • Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to effectively interact with children and relay feedback to parents.
  • High energy and physically fit to coach for 2+ hours.
  • Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

    • Ideal Experience

  • Experience working with children ages 2-6 years.
  • Preference for coaches who can work with both toddler and youth ages.
  • Experience with other youth sports organizations (e.g., SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues).
  • Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset.

    Compensation : $18-23 per hour.
