Join OpenRoad Mercedes-Benz Surrey, part of OpenRoad Auto Group, one of Canadas most recognized automotive retailers.We are seeking a motivatedSales Associateto represent the Mercedes-Benz brand in Surrey and the Greater Vancouver area.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect and build relationships with new clients through outreach, referrals, and networking.
  • Deliver premium, personalized Mercedes-Benz experiences including offsite test drives and presentations.
  • Collaborate with dealership teams to ensure seamless client transactions.
  • Promote OpenRoad Mercedes-Benz Surrey within the local business and professional community.
  • Provide after-sale support to drive referrals and repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by determining each prospective clients vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Promote new business and contribute to the companys customer base by seeking new customers through prospecting and referral networks.
  • Selling new and pre-owned vehicles, and Demonstrating vehicles (including test drives).
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in all products/inventory.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all products, including features, specifications, prices, colors, options, and standard equipment. Participate in any and all product training available.
  • Use closing techniques effectively; ask for help from management with closing when necessary. Be profit-minded when closing.
  • Deliver new and pre-owned vehicles to customers, and ensure the customer understands the vehicles operating features, warranty, and paperwork, to help ensure OpenRoad lays the foundation for customer loyalty.
  • Introduce customers to Service Department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations.
  • Set goals for each months productivity; plan and organize how to reach those objectives.
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index rating on sales, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Attend department meetings as required.
  • Suitable candidates must have the experience, drive, and proven success selling pre-owned vehicles as well
  • Follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proven success insalesor luxury automotive sales (Mercedes-Benz experience is an asset).
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales goals.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean record.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer skills (internet & MS Office), with the ability to maintain records using a computerized system.
  • Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • A Current VSA MDC License.
  • A valid British Columbia Drivers License with a good driving record.
