DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based application hosting and integration services on Azure and AWS . This role is critical to enabling secure, scalable, and automated solutions for Ontario Public Service applications within the Shared Utility Service (SUS) environment.

About the Environment

The SUS platform provides a hybrid cloud infrastructure hosting approximately 180 internal and public-facing government applications. It supports both traditional and cloud-native workloads, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud environments for hosting applications.
• Develop and manage DevSecOps pipelines for automated build and deployment.
• Create and update service templates for provisioning cloud resources.
• Configure and maintain platform components such as logging, monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability detection.
• Support operations teams in troubleshooting platform-related issues.
• Implement security safeguards to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
