Equipment Operator (2nd Shift)

As an Equipment Operator , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and inspect forklifts, roll off truck, and skid loader.

• Manage the safe operation of the site’s equipment in the assigned areas.

• Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment using tools and parts provided by Reworld.

• Conduct daily motorized machinery inspections on the site’s equipment.

• Review and record CRT demanding line processing levels and provide to supervisor daily.

• Assist supervisor with security procedures including the examination and tracking of personnel and ensuring all entrances are properly secured.

• Complete additional assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Experience in the operation of mechanical equipment is preferred.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

• Ability to take appropriate safe action on his/her own initiative to prevent equipment damage or injury to personnel during emergencies or unusual situations.
