CAD - Labor & Employment Lawyer

Responsibilities:

• Advise on all aspects of employment law compliance, workplace policies, hiring, terminations and employee relations across multiple provinces.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, confidentiality and non-competition clauses, and contractor arrangements.
• Support workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and compliant practices.
• Assist on workplace planning, restructurings, and risk mitigation related to employment standards and labour relations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of employment law experience in Canada, preferably gained in-house or at a national law firm advising corporate clients on workplace and HR matters.
• Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per yearand for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
