Knowledge of physical database design, capacity planning, security planning, backup and recovery systems, operating systems, data modeling, query language, performance and testing, and software development concepts
Awareness of established and emerging data technologies
Knowledge of database shrink operations, DBCC commands, clustering, database mirroring, and replication
