ETL Informatica Developer
Lead II - Software Engineering
What You Are
The ideal candidate should be a strong ETL / SQL Developer capable of working with both on-premise and cloud-based data integration tools. They should have solid experience in Informatica, good working knowledge of modern data warehousing (Snowflake), and familiarity with transformation frameworks like DBT.
The Opportunity
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud (IICS / IDMC).
Build complex data mappings, transformations, and workflows to support data integration, migration, and data warehousing initiatives.
Optimize and tune ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot ETL failures, debug workflow issues, and ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across systems.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate requirements into efficient ETL solutions.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and scripts for data processing and validation.
Provide production support, identify root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement in data pipelines.

What You Need
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud (IICS / IDMC) for building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL workflows.
Ability to design and implement complex data mappings, transformations, and workflows to support data integration, data migration, and data warehousing initiatives.
Proficiency in troubleshooting ETL performance issues, debugging workflows, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Expert‑level SQL programming skills with the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance‑tuned database code.
Solid understanding of relational database concepts, schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modeling.
Comfortable working with large datasets and performing data analysis or data validation using SQL.
Additional Technical Skills
Good understanding of Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, micro‑partitioning, stages, and data sharing.
Ability to build ELT pipelines in Snowflake, write optimized SQL specific to Snowflake, and work with Snowflake features like Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) as they relate to Snowflake deployment.
Experience building data transformations using DBT models, tests, documentation, and project structure.
Knowledge of version‑controlled SQL‑based transformations and modular data modeling practices.
Understanding of CI / CD practices as they relate to DBT pipelines.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company‑paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company‑paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
Part‑time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year).
All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
