Who You Will Work With:

The vacant Senior Software Developer role will report to the Practice Leader Product Enablement.

Youll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining the companys highly distributed high-performance systems.

• Building and supporting resilient microservices applications encompassing the full development lifecycles.

• Contributing to system and application architecture and produce detailed design and maintenance documentations.

• Supporting the operations group in application problem analysis and resolution.

• Participating in rotating on-call support when required.

You bring:

• A University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5 years software development experience.

• Eligibility to work for Interac Canada in a full-time capacity. Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture

• Experience in Java application development using frameworks such as Spring Spring Boot JPA and Hibernate.

• Experience in database design and development using relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL Oracle)

• Experience in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.

• Experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker Kubernetes AWS ECS.

• Experience in application security such as authentication authorization and secure coding practices

• Experience in caching solutions like Redis and Hazelcast.

• Experience with event-driven and messaging-based architectures.

• Experience developing high-throughput low latency systems is highly valued.

• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Angular.

• Experience working in agile development environments and contributing to the full software delivery lifecycle.
