Job Description :
Our client, a prominent construction company, is currently seeking a Controller to lead their finance team. The Controller will oversee financial operations, reporting directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into business performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against goals.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and maximize returns on investments.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including analysis of key performance indicators, profitability, and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on special projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation required.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial roles.Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.Experience in the construction industry or related field is preferred.Competitive salary and performance‑based bonuses.#J-18808-Ljbffr
