Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee program strategy development from inception through to project close-out and transition to operations.
• Manage business planning, benefits identification, and organisation funding requests for I&IT programs.
• Understand and articulate I&IT executive expectations and translate them into program deliverables.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams, including multiple Project Managers and matrix team members.
• Monitor and manage cost, risk, schedule, governance, technical performance, and program impact.
• Provide a program / portfolio view of project interdependencies and external dependencies.
• Analyse program and organisational environments to identify risks and issues; recommend mitigation strategies.
• Exercise leadership responsibilities, including coaching and talent development.
• Direct stakeholder consultation, facilitation, and consensus building.
• Provide program, portfolio, and / or project reporting to multiple stakeholders.
• Lead strategies to overcome resistance to change and leverage forces supporting change.
• Seek innovative business processes, technologies, and products to benefit programs.
• Build positive relationships within teams and external parties.
• Contribute to improvements in life cycle based on lessons learned.
• Schedule and organise meetings / events and maintain agendas.
• Ensure correct use of technology for operations (video conferencing, presentations, etc.).
