We’re looking for a dedicated COP Assembler to support full-cycle manufacturing operations in Mississauga. This role involves assembling components, operating machinery, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet precise standards.

Job Type : Temporary to Permanent
Location : Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate : $20.50 / hour
Hours : Days and Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday
(training will take place on day shift)
Days 7 : 00am to 4 : 30pm Monday-Thursday and 7am to 3 : 30pm Fridays
Afternoons : 4 : 30pm to 1 : 00am Monday-Thursday and 3 : 00pm to 12 : 00pm Friday
What You’ll Do :
- Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings
- Assemble products within specified period of time
- Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently
- Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices
- Identify non-conformance's
- Complete shop records accurately
- Communicates well with colleagues and team leader
- Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area
- Additional duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in assembly work
- Minimum of 1 year Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical)
- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
May be exposed to warm environments approximately 15% of the time and moderate noise levels 5% of the time
