We’ve built our solid reputation on timely delivery, production quality, and exceptional customer service. It’s an exciting time for us : we’re growing, and now we’re looking for a Order Entry Clerk like you to complete our team. Order Entry Clerk;  As our new Order Entry Clerk, your first goal will be to learn about the products we have and their technical specifications. Your willingness to learn, and ability to quickly pick up on concepts, ideas and technology, mean you’ll soon be talking to customers with confidence. You’ll speak with customers over the phone, through email and in person to understand their needs, provide information and guidance, convert conversations into orders, provide quotes, and process orders. If we don’t have the parts in stock, you’ll work closely with our driver to communicate the parts he’ll need to pick up from our suppliers. From there, you’ll work together in shipping and receiving to safely store the parts in our shop until they are delivered.   You’re an exceptional communicator and relationship builder, comfortable talking to all kinds of customers. You’re also a strong critical thinker and problem solver – able to think on your feet, juggle priorities, and maintain a calm and positive attitude, whatever the situation.   • Meticulous –  you’re great with details and provide top-notch services to our customers.
  • Organized – you’re great at balancing multiple and competing priorities, and achieving your results are your number one priority. Working @ AGM This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our shop in North York. You’ll work 8 : 00am-5 : 30pm with a salary of 37-55K, commensurate with experience, Monday to Friday, as well as one to two Saturdays a month from 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm. You’ll also receive 6 personal days in addition to vacation time, and an annual bonus based on performance. You’ll have the support of your team behind you, helping you grow and succeed in your role. Qualifications;
  • Knowledge of industrial / hardware products
  • Ability to calculate profit margins
  • Ability to use a measuring tape and vernier / caliper (measuring devices)
  • Previous sales experience (preference in bearings and industrial products)
  • Experience in a customer facing or customer service role
  • Experience with Sage Business Vision
